What about promotion?

Students are required to have 21.5 credits in order to graduate. What “grade” a student is in during the high school years is not really important: whether they are making progress towards their personal educational goals and towards the 21.5 credit requirement is. The state of Maryland requires 4 credits, including English I, for a student to be considered a 10th grader.
